One dies in crash

A man died after his motorcycle collided with a satellite television van on U.S. 13 around 7 a.m. today, authorities said.

Highway Patrol Trooper B. Wiggs, investigating the scene, said a Harley Davidson collided with a Direct TV van near the Wayne-Sampson county line, about seven miles south of Grantham School.

The patrol could not immediately name the victim nor give his approximate age, Wiggs said.
