With a change of season almost upon us, Harley-Davidson has released a selection of Autumn clothing for men and women to suit all styles and tastes. It includes leather jackets and functional outerwear as well as casual clothing for all occasions. The new range is available in authorised Harley-Davidson UK and Eire dealerships now.
For men, Harley-Davidson has introduced the Excursion 2-in-1 Leather Jacket.
The female collection has five new jackets, including the Persuasion Leather Jacket.

Harley wins one in court over use of "Hog"
Harley-Davidson scored a court victory in the federal appeals court recently over a travel company for its use of the word "hog" as part of a cruise package dubbed "HOGS ON THE HIGH SEAS".
Harley-Davidson filed suit saying using the name "Hogs" was a copyright infringement, because its riders' groups are known as Harley Owners' Groups or HOGS.
The majority found that Clevert erred in applying an earlier copyright infringement case that Harley lost to this case.

Recommended Upgrades for 2007 HD Twin Cam engine
It seems that many riders believe that using Screamin' Eagle performance upgrades have no effect on their HD Warranty. Despite what the local HD Dealer may tell them, only HD parts that are listed in the 2007 Catalog with a "green light" designation can be installed on their bikes without having a negative effect on the warranty. This means that most Screamin' Eagle components will void the warranty on much of the engine.
While in some cases your local HD Dealer can "sneak" a warranty issue through Harley's process as a courtesy to its own customers, it is highly unlikely that another Dealer will extend the same courtesy.
No matter what your local Dealer may tell you, the explanation of the warranty listed above is an honest interpretation of how Harley-Davidson is now enforcing its warranty.

For an incremental charge, everyone (wearing closed toed shoes and long pants) can climb on back of a real Harley, and let your special Harley rider escort take your guests on a ten minute ride on local roads in the vicinity of the dealership. Helmets are provided; but guests must be informed in advance that closed toed shoes and leg covering clothing are required. The cost is based on a unit of 5 motorcycles.

State HOG Rally will bring 5,000 riders to Racine
More than 5,000 Harley-Davidson motorcycles will roar into Racine this weekend for the 2007 Wisconsin State HOG (Harley Owner’s Group) Rally. The rally starts this evening and runs through Sunday at Festival Park in Downtown Racine.
Most of the rally is private, for HOG members only, but the public can visit the vendor displays and enjoy Saturday’s bike parade.
The vendors will be in Festival Hall’s south parking lot from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday; 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to noon Sunday.
