The parade of Harley-Davidson motorcycles at 9 a.m. on Saturday rumbling east on Washington Avenue just lilke a thunder to someone who has heard it,but actually it wasn't.
After the parade arrived and the motorcycles were parked in shiny rows all around Festival Hall, a bunch of people in leather and denim filled the bleachers to listen to a couple of law enforcement officers.
And also there was another day of events Downtown for the 2007 state rally of the Harley Owners Group.

HARLEY-DAVIDSON FUNDRAISING EFFORTS RAISED $87,000 FOR MDA AT STURGIS RALLY
Harley-Davidson has made fundraising efforts to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). And it has raised more than $87,000 during the 2007 Sturgis Rally in Sturgis, SD.
In order to raised money during the event August 4-11, Harley-Davidson employees, MDA organizers and event volunteers participated in various activities,such as, Harley-Davidson and MDA volunteers sold event pins and raffle tickets for a 2008 Harley-Davidson FXSTC Softail Custom motorcycle customized by Willie G Davidson with special Sturgis graphics,etc.
