Harley-Davidson scored a court victory in the federal appeals court recently over a travel company for its use of the word "hog" as part of a cruise package dubbed "HOGS ON THE HIGH SEAS".
Harley-Davidson filed suit saying using the name "Hogs" was a copyright infringement, because its riders' groups are known as Harley Owners' Groups or HOGS.
The majority found that Clevert erred in applying an earlier copyright infringement case that Harley lost to this case.
