New Dorp resident William Freeman hit a guard rail on I-80 in N.J. and is now in a coma.
It was supposed to cap off a lifetime of driving -- a journey to South Dakota on a brand-new Harley-Davidson, to join a half-million motorcycle enthusiasts for a six-day rally.
